| Boone Hall Plantation
Boone Hall and his family were the first to live in the town of Boutairre. He founded Boutairre and named it after his wife, Gabrielle Boutairre Hall. The manor is now deserted and falling apart, but is still frequently visited.

| The Old Bridge
The old bridge is wooden and painted a chipped white. It rests right in the middle of the town's sticky swamps and connects the two pieces of land that the Boutairre River runs between.

The Boutairre River runs throughout the town and eventually leads into the Mississippi River. Swimming in its shallow, cool waters has become a solution to battling the hot Louisiana heat.
